Transparency and Disclosures

In 2023, the Global Sepsis Alliance – initiator of World Sepsis Day – received total funding of approximately £322,360 (estimated €375,710). For a detailed breakdown, please refer to GSA’s annual financial accounts and reports, which are publicly available on the official Register of the Charity Commission for England and Wales. Of the total 2023 funding, GSA received €248,993 (estimated £213,636), or 66%, from corporate sponsors/industry. These funds were provided as educational grants or sponsorships in support of the World Sepsis Day Movement and World Sepsis Congress.  The remaining 34% of the total annual funding was generated through GSA’s membership fees, grants from non-profit and philanthropic organizations, and donations.
